UPDATED SEPTEMBER 12, 2020: WE WILL REOPEN WITH SOME CLASSES INSIDE ON SEPTEMBER 24, 2020.
We are practicing physical distancing at all times. Please stay six feet apart from others when inside the studio, coming and going from class.
Mats are to be placed as marked. We have 6 indoor spots with at least 6 feet between mats. If you are coming with a family member or someone with whom you are not practicing physical distancing, you are welcome to place your mat closer to theirs and doing so helps us free up space. Your teacher will help with mat placement.
Please bring your own mats and props.
Do not come to class if you feel sick, or if anybody in your family or that you are around has been ill within the last 14 days.
Wear a mask until you are settled on your mat and please put it on again when class is over, to get off your mat and leave the building/area. You may remove your mask while you are practicing.
Reserve and pay for your class ahead of time using our MindBody online scheduling. As space is limited, please cancel your reservation if you cannot come to class.
We are sanitizing surfaces in the studio after every class & providing plenty of time between classes.
We will keep windows open & fans running, as well as both doors open in the studio during classes to maximize air movement.
Our yoga platform is in in the shade in the mornings and evenings when we schedule classes. It is not covered and so can be damp if it has rained recently. As it is outdoors, there can be bugs. Thanks for being patient about practicing yoga in the elements!
Please reserve your spot in advance! Due to social distancing requirements, our outdoor yoga platform can accommodate a maximum of nine students plus the teacher. Because our outdoor classes are also on Zoom, you will see the same class listed twice, e.g, "Zoom Flow Yoga" and "Outdoor Flow Yoga." If you decide to switch from one modality to another, please cancel and re-reserve.
TAKING THE CLASS & WHAT TO BRING
Please arrive early to allow time to get settled. You may wear shoes on the platform. Please wear your mask until you get settled on your mat. We cannot lend mats or props, so please bring your own yoga mat and at least one towel to use as a yoga blanket. If you have props such as blocks, straps and bolsters that you like to use feel free to bring them. Please bring water, and bug spray can be a good idea too:)
Mats are placed six feet apart unless you are with someone in your family/with whom you are not social distancing. Please do not come to class if you are feeling ill in any way, have a fever, cough, etc, or if someone with whom you have come in contact is ill. We ask that you wear a mask before you get to your mat and as you are leaving.
If we are canceling class due to weather we will do that at least one hour before the start of class. If there is more than a 50% chance of rain during class we will cancel the outdoor version of the class to reduce the chance of having to stop a class in the middle which impacts the Zoom registrants as well as the Outdoor registrants. We use the Weather Channel App for our weather data. In the event a class does have to stop after starting, you will receive a class credit for a future class.
If we cancel a class after you have made your reservation, your account will be automatically credited. We will make every effort to contact you but please do check the schedule before coming. Remember, we may cancel class due to a chance of rain. You can use that credit to switch your registration to Zoom or keep the class credit for a future outdoor or in-studio class. Please contact us if you need a refund instead.
