Studio Policies & Procedures

In Studio Yoga

The COVID-19 landscape has evolved since we issued our policy in 2020 requiring that in-studio attendees be vaccinated.  Since then, many other variables have come into consideration with regards to an individual’s relative risk.  With the factors of acquired immunity through contracting the virus, the addition of multiple boosters, and the contagious nature of the Omicron subvariants, the science increasingly suggests that requiring people to show proof of vaccination is no longer a reliable way to ensure the health and safety of our students and visitors, or to determine how likely a person is to contract and spread the virus.

As a studio, we will continue to limit the capacity of our in-studio classes to allow for more generous spacing between students and utilize the two HEPA air filters located in our practice spaces. We will continue to offer livestream classes for those who prefer to practice at home, as well as outdoor classes and events for those who are more comfortable in an open-air setting. We will also continue with our cleaning and washing schedule to ensure we are doing everything we can to keep people healthy in general.  Our promise to the studio community is to remain vigilant and stay abreast of changes to the COVID-19 situation, listen to expert opinions, and adjust our safety posture as needed.

The Yoga Garden Community, students and teachers alike, have demonstrated their commitment to health, wellness, and practicing kindness toward others. Since the onset of the pandemic, the community has committed itself to showing care and respect toward others, and considering the impact of personal behaviors on the community as a whole. This has been critical in helping keep our studio community safe and healthy, perhaps more than a policy could.

We thank you for the care you’ve shown over the last two years, and humbly request that all members of the Yoga Garden Community continue to practice the yogic values of ahimsa (non-harming) and satya (truthfulness), by practicing reasonable safety precautions and staying home if you are sick or have been exposed to the virus, and take advantage of our livestream offerings.

We use the MindBody Online scheduling system for class reservations and payment.

You will receive a class confirmation email with the above link every time you sign up for a livestream class. However, if you have disabled notification emails OR if you sign up for class very close to the start time, you may not get the email. That is why we are providing the link for you above. All of our classes use this same link.

If you do not have a Zoom account, you will be admitted to a waiting room and the teacher will let you in ahead of class (this is Zoom's security policy).

Please log in to our virtual studio five minutes before class so that you have time to get settled.

Your emailed class reservation confirmation will contain the Zoom link. In the event you do not receive this confirmation, the link is above. If you cannot make it to class, please cancel your reservation within 20 minutes of the class start time, or you will be charged for the class.

You are welcome to keep your camera on or off. Please take care while you are practicing as in most instances, we cannot see you well to help you make adjustments!
