Congratulations to our 2022 teacher training graduates!

Our next RYT-200 Teacher Training will begin in 2024!

Our yoga school is led by Meadow DeFosche-Christ, RYT-500, with additional contributions from the highly experienced teaching staff at Yoga Garden PBO.
Whether you want to become a yoga teacher, or you are looking to delve deeper into your own personal practice, you do not have to be an advanced practitioner to enroll. Our program will certify graduates at a level exceeding the Yoga Alliance 200-hour teacher training requirements.

Our training is rooted in Classical Yoga philosophy. Pantanjali’s Yoga Sutra is at the center of these teachings. In the Sutras, Patanjali outlines the eight limbs of yoga, the eightfold path of spiritual growth and self-discovery. These limbs are ethical guidelines on how to live a vibrant, meaningful life. Asana (yoga postures) is the most well-known of the limbs, but it’s only a part of the story, for this path offers so much more. Each of the eight limbs addresses a different aspect of our multifaceted being, and together they act as a road map to living a yogic lifestyle.
Our program will meet for one weekend in person for eight months, and will also require homework, essays, and practice assignments. Yoga Garden PBO offers opportunities for teaching practice and continued mentorship within our studio community at the conclusion of our training program.
Covid-19: This is an in-person training. All participants will be asked to provide proof of vaccination.
