Loving Everything: Seeing Through the Self — A Tantric Approach to Emptiness with Miguel Amaru and Reina G.

In this workshop, we explore one of the most radical and liberating truths of the wisdom traditions: emptiness is not nothingness—it is the ground of love, freedom, and bliss.

Drawing from Dzogchen, Mahamudra, and the tantric heart teachings, we examine how suffering arises not from experience itself, but from grasping to a solid sense of self. When that grasping relaxes, the heart naturally opens.

Through teaching, inquiry, and embodied practices, participants are guided into a direct experience of sky-like awareness—a spacious, intimate presence that is untouched by praise or blame, pleasure or discomfort.

As the great yogis discovered, when the self dissolves, love is no longer personal—it becomes universal.

What You Can Expect From This Experience

In this workshop, participants are guided through direct, experiential practices drawn from Dzogchen, Mahamudra, and inner tantra—not as philosophy, but as living methods for liberation, intimacy, and awakened presence.

You can expect:

  • Guided entry into the sky-like mind
Learn to relax identification with thought, sensation, and self-image, allowing awareness to merge naturally with space and revealing emptiness as a lived experience.

  • Inner tantra techniques for touching emptiness and opening the heart
Subtle yet powerful methods are shared for dissolving fixation on the senses and elements, allowing love, bliss, and compassion to arise from non-grasping awareness.

  • Sacred mantra as a technology of liberation
We will work explicitly with tantric mantras using them not as devotional recitations, but as precise tools for deconstructing solidity, dissolving self-reference, and resting in clear, open presence.

  • Embodied insight into how language and labels create suffering
Through lived inquiry, participants feel how praise and blame, beauty and ugliness, create contraction and expansion—and how resting in empty awareness reveals the middle way beyond grasping and aversion.

  • Practices for moment-to-moment life and relationship
These teachings are not confined to the meditation cushion. You’ll explore how to apply emptiness awareness in live situations—during emotional activation, intimacy, conflict, pleasure, praise, blame, or discomfort—so that presence replaces reactivity and love replaces defense.

This is not a workshop about fixing the self.
It is an invitation to see through the self, and in doing so, discover a freedom that is stable, tender, and profoundly human.

This workshop is a part of a larger weekend immersion called Living Love, Living Wisdom:

Living Love, Living Wisdom is a heart-opening weekend immersion designed to cultivate love as a living spiritual practice - within ourselves, in our relationships, and as a felt connection to the sacred intelligence of life itself. Rooted in ancient wisdom and designed for modern hearts, this immersive experience invites participants into a rich ceremonial field of Tantra, shamanic ritual, breathwork, and sound healing.

Led by Miguel Amaru and Reina G., this weekend weaves together ecstatic movement, guided ritual, elemental practices, conscious breath, shadow integration, devotional sound, and embodied meditation. Each session is experiential, relational, and deeply embodied - offering not just insight, but felt transformation. Participants are guided to soften protective layers, awaken vitality, and reconnect with the innate wisdom of the body, heart, and breath.

The weekend will include a curated arc of immersive experiences, including a Friday night Ecstatic Temple Dance, a heart-opening cacao ceremony with live kirtan and devotional music, a deep shamanic and somatic breathwork ceremony, and a closing ceremonial sound healing journey. These cornerstone experiences are woven together with ritual, reflection, and integration to create a cohesive, transformative weekend rather than a collection of standalone workshops.

This immersion is open to all adults - singles, couples, friends, and solo travelers alike. No prior experience is required. Whether you are new to embodied spiritual practice or deepening a long-standing path, the weekend offers a supportive, consent-based container for authentic connection, personal healing, and spiritual renewal. You may attend individual sessions or join the full weekend immersion for a cumulative, initiatory journey.

Through ritual, movement, sound, and stillness, Living Love, Living Wisdom creates a space where love is remembered not as an idea, but as a lived, embodied force - a current that restores intimacy with self, others, and the greater web of life.
