Ring out the old and ring in the new by letting go of that which no longer serves us and by setting intentions for our year to come. Join Meadow in 108 recitations of the Mahamritunjaya Mantra. The Mahamrityunjaya Mantra, or the Great Death Conquering Mantra, is a powerful mantra that we chant during times of transition or great change for protection, healing, and to overcome our fears.
For this practice, we will chant this sacred mantra 108 times together to lift our collective vibration and invite healing, release, and peace. Bring your favorite mala beads if you wish to keep count. We will start with a short discussion of the mantra and the setting of intentions. Not to worry if you aren’t already familiar with this mantra. We will practice pronunciation together and handouts will be provided so that you may follow along.
This is being offered by donation, with all teacher proceeds going to CORA, a local organization dedicated to providing nutritious food to community members facing food insecurity, and helping create a healthy, strong connected community without hunger.
