Bringing Solace Through Music: Songs for the End of Life with Cynthia Crossen

Heart2heartnc presents this powerful gathering:

Cynthia Rylander Crossen is a songwriter and song-sharer devoted to the power of communal singing. Raised in a family steeped in harmony and inspired by nature and community, she has written and shared songs for decades that offer healing, connection to the earth and one another, and gratitude.

Now in her seventies, Cynthia shares her passion for music through easy-to-sing songs, rounds, and chants that comfort those who are dying and those who love them—whether at a deathbed, funeral service, or memorial. Her songs are healing gifts for the world, meant to be carried in hearts and voices wherever they are needed.

Join Cynthia in a song circle, where you’ll learn easy, uplifting songs and share in the peace, comfort, and beauty of singing together in community. She will provide a songbook for participants to take home, including lyrics, scored music, and links to recordings available on her website.

Visit cynthiasongs.com to discover songs that will carry you and your community through life’s passages.
